Alganol Zoe is a modified zinc oxide eugenol cement for use as routine cavity lining under amalgam and silicate restorations, temporary filling, pulp capping to protect pulp form thermal change and acid irritation of cements, temporary seal for medicament dressing. The material has a pH value 7-8 and combines low solubility and high compressive strength to produce an exceptionally durable material in the mouth.
