One of the most sophisticated chemical control devices, the chemical control integrator strip has been printed with steam chemical indicator, laminated, non toxic, reacting when exposed to temperature and saturated steam in a fixed time in compliance to the reference norms, otherwise it will only registers ‘pass’ when it has been subjected to the required heat/time ratio in saturated steam. Should one of the three criteria be missing the chemical control integrator strip will not register a pass. It will show clear exposure to saturated steam sterilization cycle changing colour from yellow to black. It also provides several spaces where the operator can write important indications such as sterilization date, loading materials and operator’s name.
